Long digital transmission paths require cable types that keep the voltage drop as low as possible. Cordial therefore manufactures thomann CDMX cables according to EIA 485 standard and DMX 512 specification with a conductor cross-section of at least 0.22 mm² (AWG24). A double shielding as required by PLASA and USITT is achieved by the combination of foil and braid shield and also gives the CDMX a high tensile thomann strength. With a baud rate of 250 kHz, this cable can reliably achieve the required impedance between 100 and 120 Ohm and is therefore equally suitable for the transmission of DMX as well as AES / EBU signals.
