The Ortofon 2M Red Verso MM Cartridge shares the same high-performance specifications as the standard 2M Red model, but features pre-fitted screws for bottom-mounting headshell installation. This design prioritises compatibility and convenience for headshells that do not allow screws to pass through the top, with dimensions and weight that are suitable for a variety of modern-day tonearms.
The 2M Red has been meticulously engineered with a precision-machined elliptical diamond stylus tip, mounted on a cantilever with split pole magnets that interact with an intricate copper coil system. This moving magnet design enables the engine to amplify the output to 5.5 mV, ensuring remarkable sonic accuracy.
