The Cambridge Qt X 800 is a high-capacity sound masking and audio distribution controller designed for large and complex environments requiring precise acoustic control. Combining a sound masking generator, third-octave band equalizer, amplifier, and controller in one scalable unit, the Qt X 800 supports direct-field emitters, indirect loudspeakers, or a combination of both, making it ideal for diverse installation needs.
The system supports up to eight independently adjustable zones, each with its own masking and auxiliary audio level and spectral control. With two auxiliary inputs, the Qt X 800 integrates paging and background music, while AVB or Dante connectivity (Qt X 800/D variant) enables synchronized operation and shared audio inputs across multiple controllers.
